Buffalo Cabin is centrally located near many geological wonders, including the petrified trees at Florissant Fossil Beds the dramatic natural waterfall of Paradise Cove showcases water’s millennia-long carving of mountain rock. But, the town is known for its many herds of Buffalo, with the cabin’s herd totaling over 400 head.

Just 35 minutes away in Buena Vista you can enjoy the Mountain Princeton, Cottonwood, and Charlotte Hot Springs and cute town. The region boasts endless hiking trails and pristine streams, perfect for those seeking solitude and natural beauty. For winter sports lovers, Breckenridge and Monarch Ski Areas are located roughly an hour away, offering excellent facilities and fun towns. The town of Fairplay is best know as the inspiration for the tv show, South Park.
